I Create Custom Care for You
I am your doula! Through pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I would love to support your full journey and am also available for separate services. Just let me know what you need!
Birth Doula Support
I provide evidence based, trauma informed advocacy throughout pregnancy, labor and birth.
- Care includes two prenatal visits
- Assistance with creating a birth plan
- 24/7 on call from 37 weeks
- Support and encouragement for you and your partner as desired
- Comfort measures during labor
- Photos of birth and newborn baby if desired
- A personalized birth log
- One to two Postpartum visits
Lactation Support
As a doula I also offer lactation/feeding support for you on your breastfeeding journey.
In-home peer-level lactation support is included in my postpartum doula services, to help with:
- Issues with baby’s latch
- Healing sore nipples
- Milk supply issues
- Feeding positions
- Milk storage
- Pumping
Postpartum Doula Support
I provide in-home postpartum doula support to families in the greater humboldt area for the first weeks after your baby is born.
Postpartum doula services include:
- One prenatal visit to create a plan for support
- Education + evidence-based information on recovery, newborn care, and feeding
- Light meal preparation so you stay hydrated and nourished
- Light household chores like dishes & laundry
- Care for baby while you take time to nap and shower
- Connection to local and online resources as needed
Postpartum doula support services can last anywhere from a few visits to 3 months. We'll develop a customized plan for you.
